Cella Marie (Button) Simons

DATELINE:  KINGS MOUNTAIN, NORTH CAROLINA Cella Marie Button Simons Cella Marie Button Simons, 93 of Dryden, passed on to be with her Lord and Savior, Sunday, February 20, 2022, after a brief battle with cancer. Cella Marie was born in Ithaca, NY, and graduated from Ithaca High School. She was the daughter of the late William and Florence (Lamb) Button. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 46 years, Richard H. Simons, Sr. She is survived by her children, Kathleen S. Rehbein, York Haven, PA; Richard H. Simons, Jr. (Gail), Rochester, NY; R. Charles Simons, Zion Crossroad, VA; Jeanne M. Bell (Jerry), Kings Mountain, NC. Preceding her in death were her daughter, Christie L. Christopher (Edward), Chandler, AZ; and son-in-law, Francis G. Rehbein, York Haven, PA. Also surviving is her brother, William L. Button (Eleanor), Aurora, NY; and her aunt Mary Webster, Manchester, PA; as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins. Internment at Green Hills Cemetery, Dryden. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Cella’s memory to Dryden Baptist Church, 138 Virgil Rd., Dryden, NY 13053.
