Charles Michael "Mike" Roper, died on Sunday, March 12, 2017 at Caromont Healthcare in Gastonia, NC at the age of 67. Mike was born in Kings Mountain on July 18, 1949 to the late Ivy and Mamie King Roper. He was also preceded in death by sisters Lorena Falls, Mildred Shytles, Ivory Nolen, Mary Pearson, and bothers Paul Roper, Jimmy Roper, Junior Roper, and Nelson Roper. He retired from FMC Lithium Corporation after 40 years of service. He enjoyed fishing, old cars and spending time with his grandchildren.
