Cherie Renee Willis Knox, 51, formerly of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on Friday,  September 24, 2021 at her home in Forest City. She was born in Mecklenburg County, NC, daughter of the late Mary Katherine Gibbons Willis. Renee was a past member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. She enjoyed working crossword, word search puzzles and coloring crafts. Renee was a social person and enjoyed talking with her family whom she was very close. Renee loved spending time with the people she loved. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and friend. Her generous spirit and kindness will be missed greatly by everyone who knew Renee.

VISITATION: The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 3, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM in the parlor of Harris Funeral Home
