Cindy Pasour Hovis

CINDY PASOUR HOVIS - Cynthia Sue "Cindy" Pasour Hovis, of Kings Mountain, NC, age 55, NC, died on Friday, November 15, 2013 at her home. She was born in Gaston County, NC, daughter of the late Donald Pasour. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Kings Mountain where she has served as an elder and member of the choir. She was a master gardner, member of the Southern Arts Society, loved creative writing and had a regular gardening column in Gaston Alive! She received her masters from Winthrop University. Cindy also enjoyed cooking and baking, and loved teaching and helping others. She retired from Kings Mountain District Schools where she taught at Kings Mountain High School.
