Clara Virginia Flowers Ross

CLARA VIRGINIA FLOWERS ROSS - Clara Virginia Flowers Ross, age 87 resident of Kings Mountain, NC passed away peacefully in the morning hours of December 9, 2016 at Carolina Care, Cherryville, NC. She was born in Cleveland Co. NC to the late Thomas Henry Flowers and Stella Lee Baity Flowers. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Richard G. "Bud" Ross; brothers, Marion Flowers, Arthur Flowers, Lawrence Flowers and Don Flowers. Mrs. Ross was retired from the banking industry and a member of First Wesleyan Church, Kings Mtn. NC. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend who enjoyed spending time with her family and traveling.

SURVIVORS: Daughters: Sharon "Sherry" Ross Vassey, Kings Mtn. NC Donna Leigh Ross Mozingo and husband Mike, Mt. Pleasant, SC 3 Grandchildren: Joshua W. and Jennifer Leigh Vassey and John Ross Mozingo.

FUNERAL SERVICE: First Wesleyan Church, Tuesday, December 13, 2016 2:00 P.M. Rev. Don Williams, officiating.

VISITATION: 12:30 - 1:30 P.M. Tuesday, December 13, 2016 prior to the service at First Wesleyan Church.

INTERMENT: Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, North Carolina
