DATELINE: YORK, SOUTH CAROLINA Daniel Eugene Glass

Daniel Eugene Glass, 72, of York, SC, passed away on January 25, 2022 at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, SC. He was born in Mecklenburg County, NC, son of the late Bruce Uriah and Martha Elizabeth Howard Glass and was preceded in death by a sister, Donna Soulen and brother-in-law Milton Anderson. Daniel attended Fort Mill Methodist Church. He worked in the construction industry, serving as a project manager in Amelia Island, Puerto Rico, Charleston SC, Statton Mountain, VT, and Charlotte, NC. He was an avid collector of antique radios, RC airplanes, and electric guitars. Daniel possessed a talent for refurbishing his collection and making everything old, new again. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and brother. His loving spirit, tenderness, and unique sense of humor will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.

SURVIVORS: Wife of 50 years, Doris Worby Glass Sons: Eric Eugene Glass (Erika), Henrico, VA, and Ryan Daniel Glass (Stephanie), Johns Island, SC Grandchildren: Leah, Owen, Claire, Daniel, and Bruce Glass Sisters: Paula Soulen (William) Flower Mound, TX, and Deborah Glass, Indiatlantic, FL Numerous nieces and nephews

MEMORIAL SERVICE: Saturday, February 5, 2022 at 3:00 PM at El Bethel UMC with Reverend Julie Roberts officiating

VISITATION: Saturday, February 5, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 2:50 PM prior to the service in the fellowship hall of El Bethel UMC
