Darlene Yarbro

KINGS MOUNTAIN-Darlene Black Yarbro, age 76, resident of 565 Bethlehem Road, died Dec. 15, 2010, at Kings Mountain Hospital.
She was a native of Cleveland County, daughter of the late James Henry and Essie Mae Collins Black. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters. She was retired from Mauney Hoisery after 25 plus years of service and a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Kings Mountain. Mrs. Yarbro was a hard worker and dedicated mother who loved her grandchildren. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, George W. Yarbro; sons, Wayne Yarbro and wife JoAnn of Kings Mountain; David Yarbro and wife Pam of Kings Mountain; daughters, Sherry Y. Jenkins and husband Barry of Kings Mountain, Jerry Y. Putnam of Grover; brother; Dean Black, Belmont; grandchildren, Josh Turbyfill, Avery Turbyfill, Keith Yarbro, Amanda Jenkins, Brian Jenkins and Sara Putnam and great-grandchildren, Michael Brown and Austin Brown.
Visitation: The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Harris Funeral Home, Kings Mountain
Funeral: 2 p.m. Friday at Bethlehem Baptist Church, Kings Mountain Friday, December 17, 2010 2:00 P.M. officiating
