David Lester Bowles

DAVID LESTER BOWLES - David Lester Bowles, age 51, of Lincolnton, NC died October 22, 2013 at the home of his sister. He was born in Cleveland Co, NC to the late William Daniel Bowles. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Williams Daniel Bowles, Jr.; nephews, Charles Daniel Bowles, Michael Wayne Strickland; and niece, Melissa Carter. Mr. Bowles enjoyed fishing, wrestling and NASCAR.

NC Sisters: Betty Jane Carter, and companion, Zane Graves, Lincolnton, NC Mary Miles, Lake Wylie, SC Nieces: Janie Presnell, Berea, KY Tracey Perry, Gastonia, NC Nephew: Joshua Carter, Bessemer City, NC Great-Nephew: Charles Daniel Bowles, Jr.

FUNERAL SERVICE: Grace United Methodist Church, Sunday, October 27, 2013 4:00 P.M. Rev. Tom Jolley and Rev. Dewitt Youngblood, Jr., officiating.

VISITATION: 2:30 - 3:30 P.M. Sunday, October 27, 2013 prior to the service in the sanctuary of the church.

INTERMENT: Carter Cemetery, Kings Mountain, North Carolina
