NAME: DAVID "HEAD" LOWERY - David "Head" Lowery, age 60, a resident of Kings Mountain, died July 12, 2014 at Kings Mountain Hospital. He was a native of Cleveland co., NC, son of the late Norman and "Ms. Tillie" Lowery. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sister, Kathy Tompkins.
He was a longtime employee of Imperial Textile and Machine Corp. in Kings Mountain, served in the United States Army, a member of the American Legion Post # 243 in Bessemer City and former Commander of the American Legion Post # 155 in Kings Mountain. He was a loving husband, father and PawPaw.
SURVIVORS: Wife of 43 years; Wanda Early Lowery, Kings Mountain Daughter; Nicole Lowery Mealing and huband John Max Mealing, Jr.
Grandchildren; Jackson and Marcus Mealing
