David Rodney Millwood

David Rodney Millwood, 69, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on March 27, 2018 at his home in Kings Mountain, NC. Born in Gaston County NC, he was the son of the late Jack Millwood and Edith Chaney Millwood and was preceded in death by his wife of 37 years, Donna Millwood and his brothers, Johnny, Pat, Jimmy and Joe Millwood. David served in the US Army as a member of the 82nd Airborne Division and served in the Vietnam Conflict. He enjoyed playing drums and riding motorcycles. He participated in an annual Christmas Toy Run each year. He was a loving Father, Grandfather and brother. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

FUNERAL SERVICE: Friday, March 30, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Ollie Harris Memorial Chapel, Kings Mountain, NC. With Rev. Jerry Millwood Officiating

VISITATION: Thursday, March 29, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Harris Funeral Home, Kings Mountain, NC

INTERMENT: Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, NC
