Beloved Husband, Father, Son and Brother, Delbert Shawn Adkins, 47, of Kings Mountain, passed away on March 29th, 2021 in his home.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm on Monday, April 5th, 2021 at New Life Family Worship Center in Kings Mountain, NC, by Harris Funeral Home.  Burial service will be held at a later date, at Adkins Cemetary in Clay, West Virginia.

Shawn was born in Summersville, West Virginia, to Carolyne Kiser and Delbert Adkins on August 19th, 1973.  He was married to Stephanie Allison Adkins for 13 years. He worked as a repo man for many years.  He was a veteran and served in the United States Navy.  Shawn was passionate about his family and the military.

Shawn is survived by his wife, Stephanie Adkins; His children Kirra and Gabriel Adkins; His sister Amber Kiser and brothers Randall, Dustin, Derrick, Joseph and Jordan Adkins; His Mother and Stepfather Carolyne and Fred Kiser; His Father and Stepmother, Delbert and Loetta Adkins; His nephew, Oakley Murray.

FUNERAL SERVICE: Monday, April 5, 2021 at New Life Family Worship Center with Reverend Dr. Robert Eng officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
