Della "Cookie" Merck, 63, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on April 20, 2023 at her home. She was born in Cleveland County, NC, daughter of the late Claude Revels and Edna Medford and was preceded in death by her first husband, Marty Jones. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Larcie, Mickey, and Toby and a grandchild, Braylen Merck. Cookie was a Facebook Queen and spent many hours surfing social media. She loved documenting her loved ones lives by taking photos at every opportunity. Cookie also enjoyed spending time around the swimming pool and with her grandchildren. She was a member of Trinity Church and was currently attending Salvation Station. Cookie was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who will be forever missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

Children: Christopher Jones, Kings Mountain, NC, David Merck (Suzanne), Fallston, NC, Bradley Merck (Katie), Kings Mountain, NC, and Elizabeth Reynolds (Frankie), Kings Mountain, NC

Sister: Doodle Cook, Kings Mountain, NC

Grandchildren: Courtney, Taylor, Cheyanne, Haley, Burgan, and Bentley

Great Grandchildren: Roman, Mia, Emerson, Sterling, and Dessie

Brother-in-law: Pete Cook, Kings Mountain, NC

FUNERAL SERVICE: Sunday, April 23, 2023 at 2:00 PM in the Ollie Harris Memorial Chapel with Reverend Timmy Whitaker officiating

VISITATION: Sunday, April 23, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 1:50 PM prior to the service at Harris Funeral Home

INTERMENT: Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, NC
