Dennis Wade Davis, 56, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on Wednesday, July 25, 2023 at Wendover Hospice House in Shelby, NC. He fought a courageous battle with cancer for 2 years. He was born February 16, 1967 in Cleveland County, North Carolina. He was a talented person who enjoyed cooking, woodworking, and doing crafts. Dennis was a former employee of Carl Davis Lawn Services and Walking Company of Lincolnton, NC. Dennis was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. It was there that he professed his faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and was baptized at an early age. Preceding him in death are his brother Donald Ray Davis, grandparents, Raymond and Ina Moore Blanton and Franklin and Mandy Pryor Davis; aunt Ina Rae Blanton; uncles Ronnie Blanton, James Messer, Steve Swagger, Edward and Toy Davis.
