Dodie Bush, 78, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on April 29, 2023 at her home.  She was born in Tuscarawas County, OH, daughter of the late James and Hazel Johnson Porter and was preceded in death by sisters, Faye Clark, Betty Baker, Doris Yuhas, Verna "Patty" Porter, her brothers, Chester and Elmer Porter and a nephew, Paul Yuhas. Dodie's love for people was evidenced by her generosity and willingness to give of herself to anyone in need. She never met a person she did not like and could turn any stranger into a friend in a matter of minutes. In her early years, Dodie served in security roles and as a private investigator. She enjoyed spending time at casinos, boating, fishing, and being around the people she loved. She was a loving wife and wonderful sister and caregiver. Her warm heart and love for people will be missed dearly.
