Donald Grady Arnold, Sr

DONALD GRADY ARNOLD, SR. - Donald Grady Arnold, Sr., age 81, resident of Kings Mountain, NC died March 21, 2013 at Kings Mountain Hospice House. He was born in Morgan Co. AL to the late Grady Arnold and Lessie Lansdell Arnold. He was also preceded in death by his son, Donald Grady Arnold, Jr. and sister, Nancy Arnold. Mr. Arnold was a truck driver and a mechanic who enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, working on automobiles, and watching Westerns. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War and attended First Baptist Church, Kings Mtn. NC A loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend who will be greatly missed.

SURVIVORS: Wife of 43 years: Joy Lea Martin Arnold, Kings Mtn. NC Sons: Pat Arnold and wife Janice, Brooklyn, MI Mark Arnold and wife Melody, Decatur, AL Greg Arnold and wife Debbie, Westland, MI Jack Edward Arnold and wife Marni, Charlotte, NC Phillip Allen Arnold, Sr. Kings Mtn. NC Daughter: Shelly Arnold, Brooklyn, MI Sisters: Beverly Arnold and Lynda Makie, both of MI Sister-in-law: Mary Katz and husband Frank, Kings Mtn. NC Several Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. Nephews: Mike Negus and family and Marty Negus and family, all of Kings Mtn. Niece: Margie Dunlap and family all of Kings Mtn.
