Donald "Don" Keith Dixon

DATELINE:  KINGS MOUNTAIN, NORTH CAROLINA Donald "Don" Keith Dixon Donald Keith Dixon, 82, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on April 04, 2022 at Stanley Total Living in Stanley, NC. He was born in Cleveland County, NC, son of the late HK and Jeanette Bookout Dixon and was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Linda Moore Dixon and a grandson, Tony Baker. Don was a longtime member of First Baptist Church where he served on several committees. After graduating from Grover High School, Don attended Gardner Webb and Kings College where he earned a Business Degree. Late in life, he attended Cleveland Community College where he earned an Associates Degree in Computer Aided Drafting. Don retired from Talon where he worked as a machinist for many years. Throughout his life, Don was an avid farmer and accomplished woodworker. He also enjoyed spending time outdoors, hunting and fishing. He was a mentor to many people, none so much as his grandson, Ryan, whom he mentored for his Eagle Scout Badge. Don was an expert when it came to building pinewood derby cars, and enjoyed building them for Ryan. He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather who will be missed greatly by his family and the community. SURVIVORS: Son: D.
