Donald Lindsay Ware, 76, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on August 12, 2022. He was born in Mecklenburg County, NC, son of the late William Brown and Eleanor Lindsay Ware and was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Joann Ware. Don served his country honorably in the United States Army. He enjoyed spending time farming, tinkering with tractors and spending time with his beloved family. He was a longtime member of East Gold Street Wesleyan Church. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who will be missed greatly by all who knew him.

SURVIVORS: Wife: Bobbie Branks Ware, of the home Children: Derek Ware and wife Gayla and Allison Houser and husband Paul Brother: William Brown Ware Jr Sister: Eleanor Ann Thomas and husband Gene Grandchildren: Stephanie Houser Maner and husband Joseph, Karmen Houser and fiance, Caleb Johnson, Dexter Ware, and Darbeigh Ware Great Grandchild: Shepherd Maner

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at 11:00 AM at East Gold Street Wesleyan Church with Reverend Scott Whitney officiating

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 27, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 10:50 AM prior to the service at the church
