Donna Lovelace Edmonson

Donna Lovelace Edmonson, 77, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on July 02, 2024 at Wendover Hospice House in Shelby, NC. She was born in Cleveland County, NC, daughter of the late Willard Haywood Lovelace and Margie Kuykendall Lovelace and was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Jerry Henry Edmonson and a sister, Patricia Lovelace. Donna was a former charter member of Christian Freedom Baptist Church and a current devoted member of David Baptist Church. She worked for over 20 years in the Cleveland County School System in the cafeteria. Donna enjoyed crocheting and was an avid bird watcher. She possessed a sweet and caring soul that everyone around her could feel. She was a wonderful mother, not only to her children, but the community as a whole. Her kindness and care will be remembered by the people whose lives Donna impacted.

Grandchildren: Brooke Edmonson, Mallorie Humphries (Caleb), Ambria Edmonson, Austin Hughes, Haley Casesa, John Michael Edmonson, Silas Edmonson, Bela Edmonson, and Aliza Odom (Alex)

Great Grandchildren: Jordan Smith, Leighton Humphries

FUNERAL SERVICE: Friday, July 5, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Christian Freedom Baptist Church with Reverends Brian Taule and Mike Chambers officiating

VISITATION: Friday, July 5, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:50 PM prior to the service at Christian Freedom Baptist Church

INTERMENT: Christian Freedom Baptist Church Cemetery, Kings Mountain, NC
