DONNA MAUNEY LONG - Donna Mauney Long, age 58, a resident of 110 Timms Street, died Sunday, May 1, 2011 at Kings Mountain Hospice House. Born in Gaston County, NC, daughter of the late Ralph Hunter and Joan Patricia Busick Mauney and was also preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Hunter Mauney. A member of Alexis Baptist Church, Alexis, NC, and a homemaker.

SURVIVORS: Husband of 30 years, Norman L. Long

Sons: Stacy Long and wife Jessica, Lucia, NC. Scott Long, Gastonia, NC

Daughters: Amy Hannon and husband Michael, Kings Mtn, NC Sharon Blalock and husband Kelly, Denver, NC

Sis-in-Law: Marcia Mauney, Alexis, NC

Brother: Paul Mauney and wife Glenda, Iron Station, NC

Sister: Teresa Devine and husband Mark, Alexis, NC

Grandchildren: Triston Hannon, Brandon Long, Hayden Long and Willow Blalock

She was also survived by a number of nieces and nephews

GRAVESIDE SERVICE: Alexis Baptist Church Cemetery, Tuesday, May 3, 2011 At 1:00 P.M. Rev. Sandy Marks, officiating.
