Doris Bolton Upchurch Patrick

NAME: DORIS BOLTON UPCHURCH PATRICK - Doris Bolton Upchurch Patrick, age 74, a resident of Peak Resources of Shelby, went to be with the Lord March 13, 2015 at Wendover Hospice in Shelby. She was born in Cherokee County, SC, daughter of the late James Hillard and Delilah Moss Bolton.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two brothers, James "Bud" Bolton and C.V. Bolton and by three grandchildren, Eric Grigg, Brandy Hamrick and Chadwick Moore. She was a graduate of Blacksburg High School.

Mrs. Patrick was a charter member of Pathway Baptist Church in Kings Mountain where she served as pianist, WMU Director, Vacation Bible School Director and drove the church van. Doris was an avid gardener who loved her flowers. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother.

4 great-grandchildren; Alexis Short, Brooklyn Short, Camden Short, Daylen Short
