- Dorothy Mauney Pittman, age 81, a resident of 103 Forest Drive, Shelby, NC, passed away on Saturday, November 2, 2013 at Kings Mountain Hospital. She was born in Cleveland County, NC, daughter of the late Winslow and Fannie May Dedmon Mauney. She was a homemaker and a loving, caring person and a loving mother and grandmother.
SURVIVORS: Daughters: Shelia C. Roberts and husband Robert, Shelby, NC Robin Ridings and husband Forest, Shelby, NC
Grandchildren: Adriana Roberts, Jasmine Roberts, Kacie Ridings Johnathan Ridings.

MEMORIAL SERVICE: Ollie Harris Memorial Chapel, Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at 4:00 P.M. Rev. Forest Ridings, officiating.
VISITATION: 3:00 to 4:00 P.M. prior to the service at the funeral home
