Dorothy Melton Varnadore

DOROTHY MELTON VARNADORE - Dorothy Melton Varnadore, age 86, resident of 309 9th Street, Gaffney, SC formerly of Kings Mountain, NC went to be with the Lord on March 14, 2015 at her home. She was born in Cherokee Co, SC to the late Carl Melton and Vicie Blackwell Melton. She was also preceded in death by her sons, Johnny Lee Varnadore, Billy Ray Varnadore, and Gary Wayne Varnadore and brothers, Ernest Melton, J. W. Melton, Delano Melton, and Walter Melton. She was retire from the textile industry and loved to cook and bake.

NC Special Daughter and caregiver: JoAnn Varnadore, Sister: Ella Mae Wray, Gaffney, SC 11 Grandchildren: Robbin Varnadore, Marty Varnadore, Deanna Varnadore, Christopher Varnadore, Johnathan Varnadore, Tonya Varnadore, Wendy Varnadore, Nicole Varnadore, Bobby Joe Varnadore, Shane Varnadore, Miranda Varnadore. 11 Great Grandchildren: Scott Varnadore, Amanda Varnadore, Patrick Patterson, Sonya Aland, Heidi Aland, Kayliana Varnadore, Kenzley Varnadore, Christopher Varnadore, Lucas Varnadore, Hunter Varnadore, and Logan Varnadore. 19 Great Great Grandchildren.

FUNERAL SERVICE: Ollie Harris Memorial Chapel, Friday, March 20, 2015 3:00 P.M.

VISITATION: 1:30 - 2:30 P.M. Friday, March 20, 2015 prior to the service at Harris Funeral Home, Kings Mountain, North Carolina
