Douglas D. Chryst

DOUGLAS D. CHRYST - Douglas Dwayne Chryst, age 57, resident of Kings Mountain, NC died August 27, 2013 at Newberry County Memorial Hospital. He was born in Toledo, OH to the late Dwayne Myles Chryst. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Kings Mtn. NC where he served as sound system tech. Mr. Chryst was a mechanical engineer with MacLean Power Systems, Newberry, SC and part-time security officer at the Charlotte Motor Speedway. He was an Eagle Scout and received a God and Country Award. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who also loved his son-in-laws.

NC Mother: Marjorie Shaefer Chryst, Toledo, OH Daughters: Megan Chryst Ladd and husband Brian, Chapel Hill, NC Rachelle Chryst Messer and husband Logan, Creedmoor, NC Victoria Leigh Chryst, Casper, WY Brothers: David Chryst, Jewell, MI Rodney Chryst, Toledo, OH And Gregory Chryst, Seattle, WA 1 Grandchild: Cosette Ladd

MEMORIAL SERVICE: First Presbyterian Church, Saturday, August 31, 2013 2:00 P.M. Rev. John Bridges, officiating.

VISITATION: 1:00 - 2:00 P.M. Saturday, August 31, 2013 prior to the service in the church fellowship hall.
