Edith (Marsh) Davis

DATELINE:  KINGS MOUNTAIN, NORTH CAROLINA Edith Marsh Davis Edith Marsh Davis, 76, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on June 14, 2019 at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia, NC. She was born in Richmond County, NC, to the late Willie Herman Marsh and Rachel Pauline England Marsh and was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Reid Davis and a son, Richard Wayne Davis. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Ina Frances Holder. Edith was a member of Chestnut Ridge Baptist Church. She was an accomplished seamstress and enjoyed sewing for most of her life. Edith enjoyed being at home around her family and especially loved spending time with her best friend, her daughter Phyllis. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother. Edith will be missed dearly by her family and friends.
