NAME: EDNA CHAMPION HARRISON
- Edna Champion Harrison, age 77, a resident of Kings Mountain, went to be with the Lord on June 24, 2015 at Caromont Health, Gastonia . She was born in Wake Co., NC, daughter of the late James Robert Champion, Sr. and Lindsey Carroll Champion. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two brothers, Donald W. Champion and James Robert Champion, Jr. She was a homemaker, an active member of First Baptist Church where she was a member of the Golden Fellowship and the Senior Adult Choir. Edna was a marvelous cook, loved to garden and was a caregiver to everyone.
SURVIVORS: Husband of 43 years; Ralph Harrison, Kings Mountain Sister; Betty Greene and husband Emmett, Kings Mountain Special Sister-in-law; Judy Medlin Champion, Monroe, NC Special neighbors Glen and Audrey Cody Numerous nieces and nephews
FUNERAL SERVICE: First Baptist Church, Kings Mountain Saturday, June 27, 2015 2:00 P.M. Dr. John Sloan, officiating
VISITATION: 12:30-1:30 P.M., Saturday, June 27, 2015 prior to the service in the Stained Glass room of First Baptist Church.
