Elizabeth Lail Atkins

GROVER - Elizabeth Lail "Patti" Atkins, 56, of 103 Atkins Dr., died Friday, June 10, 2010 at home.
Born in Coco Beach, Florida at Patrick Air Force Base, she was the wife of 38 years to Gene Atkins of the home and was the daughter of Hoyt Richard Lail and Erica Bromm Lail of Bennettsville, S.C. She was a homemaker, a member of New Life Family Worship Center and UDC. She loved the mountains of Yancey County, loved gardening, and flowers of all kinds. She also loved her cats, Babie Girl, Pestie and Dodo. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by a daughter, Mary Elizabeth Black and husband, John, of Spindale; brothers, Alan Lail of Vancouver, Washington and Marshal Lail of Charlotte; sister, Laura Justice of Bennettsville, S.C. and grandchildren, Thomas William Black and John DeWayne Black.

Visitation: The family will receive friends Sunday, June 13, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at New Life Family Worship Center in Kings Mountain.
