ELIZABETH MERCK CASH

-Elizabeth Merck Cash, age 84 former resident of Matheny St. Forest City, NC died February 24, 2015 at White Oak Manor, Shelby, NC. She was born in Rutherford Co. NC to the late Miles Garrett Lovelace and Annie Mae York Lovelace. She was also preceded in death by her 1st husband, Clyde Merck, Jr. and brother, Alvin York Lovelace. Mrs. Cash was a former member of Concord Baptist Church, Bostic, NC and formerly employed with Spindale Mills. Lib was a talented artist and painter. She loved animals of all kinds, music, and rambling the woods. She will be missed for her quick-wit, her marvelous sense of humor and the love and pride she had for her children.

SURVIVORS: Husband of 35 years: Calvin Cash, Shelby, NC

Sons: Kenneth Merck and wife Billie, Ellenboro, NC and Michael Merck and wife Earline, Bostic, NC

Daughters: Gerry Merck and partner Jody, Utica, NE; Debora Mills and husband Ray, Redding, CA; Donna Martin and husband Calvin, Copper Hill, VA

14 Grandchildren: Scott Merck, Stephanie Skipper , Jordan Merck, Alex Merck, Sean Merck Foster, Mayson Merck, James Elswick, Adam Foster, Daniel Jones, Maria Mills, Jennifer Mills, Christopher Mills, Jason Street, and Brandon Street. 33 Great Grandchildren. 2 nieces and 1 nephew.

MEMORIAL SERVICE: Concord Baptist Church, Bostic, NC Saturday, February 28, 2015 2:00 P.M. Rev. Travis Laflin, officiating.

VISITATION: Immediately following the service in the Sanctuary of Concord Baptist Church, Bostic, North Carolina
