ELSIE COOK SMITH McKINISH - Elsie Cook Smith McKinish, age 100, a resident of 237 Tryon Road, Rutherfordton, NC, formerly of Kings Mountain, died Friday, April 26, 2013 at the Willow Ridge of North Carolina Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was the widow of the late Fred Smith and was also preceded in death by a son George W. Smith and Janice S. Johnson. A member of First Baptist Church, Kings Mountain, a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was retired from the textile industry.

SURVIVORS: Grandchildren: Carmen Smith Parker and husband Paul, Shelby, NC Brittany Smith and husband Brandon Justice, Shelby, NC Great Grandchildren: Vince Parker, Lane Parker, Tory Jan Parker

GRAVESIDE SERVICE: Monday, April 29, 2013 at Gaston Memorial Park. Gastonia, NC at 11:00 A.M.

VISITATION: Immediately following the service at the cemetery
