DATELINE: GASTONIA, NORTH CAROLINA ESSIE TROTTER PARROTT - Essie Trotter Parrott, age 86, resident of 1130 Essex Street, Gastonia, NC went to be with her Lord and Savior, January 26, 2011 at Gaston Memorial Hospital, Gastonia, NC. Born in White County, Georgia, she was preceded in death by her parents, the late Willie Samuel Trotter and Mollie Mae Edwards Trotter. She was also preceded in death by her husband, the late David A. Parrott, five brothers, and two sisters. She was retired from Firestone, Gastonia, NC and the Brian Center, Gastonia, NC. Mrs. Parrott was a faithful member of Fairview Baptist Church, Gastonia, NC who was always willing to help everyone in the community in need.
SURVIVORS: Sons: Edward Harper, Gastonia, NC Robert Samuel Parrott, Lincolnton, NC Daughter: Karen Parrott Gibson, Kings Mtn. NC her late husband, The Late Rev. Randy Gibson. Sisters: Zella Wilson, Clarksville, GA Eileen Shook, Clarksville, GA 8 Grandchildren, 14 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild and 1 on the way. FUNERAL SERVICE: Ollie Harris Memorial Chapel., Saturday, January 29, 2011 a 12:30 P.M. Rev. Robbie Stinson and Rev. Andy Raines, officiating.
VISITATION: 6:30 - 8:30 P.M. Friday evening, January 28, 2011 at Harris Funeral Home, Kings Mountain, North Carolina
