Eva Belk Pitts, 73, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on September 14, 2026 at White Oak Manor in Kings Mountain, NC. She was born July 31, 1953 in Lancaster County, SC, daughter of the late Charles Odell and Beatrice Wright Belk and was preceded in death by her brothers, Mickey, Bobby, and Bill and three sisters, Ruth, Geraldine, and Linda (Skeeter). Eva worked as a spinner in textiles most of her life, most recently at American Effird. Eva attended Crowders View Freewill Baptist Church when her health allowed her to. She enjoyed staying busy and was an avid Bingo player. Eva loved shopping and frequenting yard sales. She loved being outdoors and cherished the time spent with her family on camping trips, fishing adventures and family vacations. She possessed a sweet, caring, and determined soul. Eva believed that no matter the difficulties, a person should carry on with life and make the most of the situation. She never met a stranger and loved engaging with people she met. Most of all, Eva loved her family. She cherished every moment she could spend with them and showed her love for them all daily. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew her for a lifetime.

SURVIVORS: Husband of 39 years: Victor Pitts, Kings Mountain, NC

Children: Donald Ray Hodge Jr. (Penny) and Patty Ann Hodge, both of Clover, SC

Sister: Diane Hodge, Lancaster, SC

Grandchildren: Christopher Hodge and Dylan Hodge

Great-Grandchildren: Kayleigh, Emily, Samantha, and Topher Hodge

Sister-in-law: Wanda Rader (Randy Marlin), Hendersonville, TN

FUNERAL SERVICE: Saturday, September 19, 2026 at 2:00 PM in the Ollie Harris Memorial Chapel with Pastor Michael Leary officiating

VISITATION: Saturday, September 19, 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:50 PM prior to the service at Harris Funeral Home

INTERMENT: Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, North Carolina

MEMORIALS: Memorial in Eva's memory may be made the Alzheimer's Association at Alzheimer's Association
