Evelyn Ruppe Champion

EVELYN RUPPE CHAMPION - Evelyn Ruppe Champion, age 83, resident of Kings Mountain, NC went to be with the Lord on September 30, 2011. She was born in Cleveland Co. NC to the late Sidney and Edna Ruppe. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Gene Champion, two sisters and one brother. She was a member of Second Baptist Church, Kings Mtn where she was active in the WMU and the Senior Choir. She was a retired seamstress.

SURVIVORS: Son: Dennis Champion and wife Kathy, Gastonia, NC Daughters: Jo Ann White and husband Don, Tampa, FL Sandy Richardson and husband Dan, Seffner, FL Lenore Black and husband Reece, Gastonia, NC Kathy Hillebrand and husband Bob, Charlotte, NC Sister: Dorothy Boheler, Shelby, NC 10 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren.

FUNERAL SERVICE: Second Baptist Church, Monday, October 3, 2011 2:00 P.M. Rev. James Lochridge, officiating.

VISITATION: 12:30 - 1:30 P.M. Monday, October 3, 2011 prior to the service in the sanctuary of Second Baptist Church.

INTERMENT: Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, North Carolina
