Evelyn Kay (Collins) Mcswain

DATELINE:  KINGS MOUNTAIN, NORTH CAROLINA Evelyn Collins McSwain Evelyn Collins McSwain, 61, of Kings Mountain, NC, shed her pain and entered her Heavenly home on November 07, 2018 at her home in Kings Mountain, NC. She was born in Baltimore, MD, to the late Soloman Collins and Helen Patterson and was preceded in death by her brother, Samuel Collins Sr., and a granddaughter Lorinda McSwain. Evelyn was a member of Kingdom Church in York, SC. She worked as a waitress, cook, and in the textile industry most of her life. Evelyn enjoyed cooking for her family and watching her "stories" on tv. She especially loved watching The Young and the Restless. Everyone who met Evelyn, loved Evelyn. She was a loving mother and grandmother who will be missed by all of her family and friends. SURVIVORS: Son: Samuel McSwain, Kings Mountain, NC Daughter: Barbara Fewell and husband, Torben, Clover, SC Sister: Angela Howard     Niece: Tracey Read     Nephew: Sam Collins Jr. Grandchildren: Chiara, Aleighia, Justin, Gary, Jermaine, Kailie and Dominique
