Faye Rebecca Turner Bowen Williamson, 97, passed away on March 23, 2024, at White Oak Manor in Kings Mountain, NC. Faye was born on February 21, 1927, in Kannapolis, NC to the late Oscar and Jenny Turner. In addition to her parents, Faye was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Cyrus Loren Bowen; son, Roger Dale Bowen; twin brother, Ray Turner; sister, Francis Long; and husband of five years, Burl Williamson. Faye settled in Kings Mountain, NC, where she raised a family and worked at Mauney Hosiery Mill, where she retired. She was a faithful Christian and longtime member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church of Grover, NC. The ladies' class at Pleasant Hill remembers that, in her later years, as her vision deteriorated, Faye would always pray the sweetest, most meaningful prayers. Faye was beloved by her family and her community and leaves behind a strong legacy of Christian perseverance.

SURVIVORS: Daughters: Margie Moss and husband, Doug, of Kings Mountain; and Kathy Queen and husband, Ken, of Kings Mountain Daughter-in-Law: Nanette Turner and husband, Wayne, of Grover, NC Grandchildren: Dale Bowen and wife Georgina, of Bowman, GA; Candice Pullen of Blacksburg, SC; Roger Moss and wife, Debbie, of Cary, NC; Kenny Queen of Kings Mountain, NC; Tim Queen of Raleigh, NC; and Andy Turner of Grover, NC. In addition, Faye was blessed with 11 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews whom she dearly loved.

FUNERAL SERVICE: Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church of Grover, NC with Reverends Dr. Cal Robertson and Dennis Wells officiating.

VISITATION: Wednesday, March 27, 2024, from 1:00 P.M. to 1:50 P.M. prior to the service at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

INTERMENT: Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery
