Florene "Rene" Chapman Bolin

"RENE" BOLIN - Florene "Rene" Chapman Bolin, age 82, resident of 127 Hardin Drive went to be with the Lord on December 15, 2013 at Caromont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia, NC. She was born in Cleveland Co. NC to the late Noah Edley Chapman and Beulah Dixon Chapman. She was also preceded in death by brothers, R.C. Chapman; Loyd Chapman; Joe Chapman; Johnny Chapman, and sisters, Mae Grigg; Madge Hawkins; Pauline Moss; and Ruby Smith. Mrs. Bolin was a lifelong and active member of David Baptist Church, Kings Mtn. NC where she served as Sunday School Teacher. She was retired from Copeland Industries, Shelby, NC. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who loved to travel, garden, quilt, and crochet.

SURVIVORS: Husband of 59 years: J.V. Bolin, Kings Mtn. NC Sons: Dennis Gary Bolin and wife Leslie, Kings Mtn. NC Danny Keith Bolin and wife Melany, Boiling Springs, NC Brother: Jerry Chapman, Kings Mtn. NC Sisters: Lois Parker and Hazel Graham, both of Kings Mtn. NC Helen Lail, Shelby, NC 8 Grandchildren: Crissy Huitt and husband Justin, Adam Bolin and wife Sarah, Drew Bolin, Courtney Bolin, McKenzie Bolin, Noah Bolin, Zac Bolin, and Zoie Bolin. 6 Great Grandchildren.

FUNERAL SERVICE: David Baptist Church, Thursday, December 19, 2013 3:00 P.M. Rev. Jody Griffin, officiating.

VISITATION: 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Wednesday evening, December 18, 2013 at Harris Funeral Home Kings Mountain, North Carolina
