Forest Campbell

KINGS MOUNTAIN - Forest Campbell, 81, of 110 N. Deal Street, Kings Mountain, died Friday, July 2, 2010, at home.
He was born in Rutherford County, son of the late Robert Willie Campbell and Winnie Pearl Hunt Campbell was also pre-ceded in death by his wife Veargie Campbell. After 31 years he retired from Retreading Equipment of Charlotte. He loved the outdoors and gardening.
He is survived by a son, Mark Campbell of Clover, SC; daughters Barbara Campbell Mabe and husband, Kenneth, of Kings Mountain, Shirley Campbell Harmon and husband, Van, of Bessemer City; brothers Oliver Campbell, of Shelby, Junior Campbell of Ellenboro, Donald Campbell of Shelby; sisters Mary Hudson of Ellenboro, Marjorie Campbell of Mooresboro, Dorothy Looka-doo of Rutherfordton, Grace Ramsey of Drexel, Ruby Outen of Monroe, Linda Willis of Mooresboro, Doris Blackwell of Ellen-boro; grandchildren Karen Mabe Deese, Cindy Mabe, Nikki Harmon, Kayla Harmon; great grandchildren Haley Mabe, Makeen Deese.
Visitation: The family will receive friends Monday, from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m., prior to the service at Harris Funeral Home.
