Forrest Earl Moss Jr.

DATELINE:  KINGS MOUNTAIN, NORTH CAROLINA Forrest Earl Moss Jr. Forrest Earl Moss Jr., 87, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on October 25, 2018 at Kings Mountain Hospital in Kings Mountain, NC. Born in Cleveland County, NC, he was the son of the late Forrest Evan Moss and Laura Jolly Moss and was preceded in death by two brothers, Solan and Sonny Moss and two sisters, Mildred Whetstine and Virginia Gibson. He was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Ashley Moss. He served his country honorably for 2 years as a member of the US Army during the Korean Conflict. Forrest was a longtime member of First Baptist Church where he served as an Usher for many years. He loved to golf and enjoyed puzzles and painting. Forrest especially enjoyed solving Sudoku puzzles. He and his wife Vera enjoyed riding motorcycles and have ridden from Florida to Nova Scotia. Forrest was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend and will be missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
