Freida Blalock Grayson

FREIDA BLALOCK GRAYSON - Freida Blalock Grayson, age 73, resident of Kings Mountain, NC went to be with the Lord on August 11, 2013 at Kings Mountain Hospice House. She was born in Cleveland Co. NC to the late Charles Blalock and Dorothy Miller Blalock. She was also preceded in death by her 1st husband; Bob Eng and 2nd husband; Roy Grayson, brother, Sonny Blalock; sister, JoAnn Crawford; and granddaughter, Madison Lee Blanton. She worked at Blalock's Grocery for 30 years and was a member of New Life Family Worship Center, Kings Mtn. NC. A loving mother, grandmother, and friend who loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed gardening and yard work.

SURVIVORS: Sons: Dr. Robert William Eng, III and wife Susan, Kings Mtn. NC John Edward Eng and wife Julie, Kings Mtn. NC Daughter: Melissa Eng Blanton and husband Don, Kings Mtn. NC Sister: Sybil Kiser, Shelby, NC 5 Grandchildren: Tiffany Thomas, Heather Sherrill and husband Tracy, Dylan Blanton, Anna Blanton, and Amanda Blanton. 5 Great Grandchildren. Aunts: Louise Kale, Kings Mtn. NC; Peggy Pruitt and husband Ken, Forest City, Brother-in-law: Donald Crawford, Kings Mtn. NC Numerous nieces and nephews.

FUNERAL SERVICE: New Life Family Worship Center, Kings Mtn. NC Sunday, August 18, 2013 10:30 A.M. Dr. Robert William Eng, III and Rev. Moses Neuman, officiating.

VISITATION: 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Saturday evening, August 17, 2013 at Harris Funeral Home, Kings Mountain, North Carolina

INTERMENT: Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, North Carolina
