- Freida F. Ramseur, age 91, a resident of Tryon Courthouse Road, died Saturday, November 3, 2012 at Gaston Memorial Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Hillis White and Bessie Patterson Ramseur and was also preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Ramseur and Jim Ramseur and three sisters, Mary Sue Ramseur, Ruby Ramseur and Margaret Merigold. She was a member of Long Creek Presbyterian Church, an active bridge player, a retired social worker and she loved her nieces and nephews

SURVIVORS: Nieces: Freida Ann Ramseur, Bessemer City, NC Katie DeWolf, Boston, Mass. Linda Merigold, Houston, Texas; Veronica Smith, Buffalo, NY

Nephews: Joe Ramseur and wife Cindi, Bessemer City Lee Ramseur and wife Andi, Virginia Pat Ramseur and wife Karen, Richardson, Texas James Merigold and wife Mary, Buffalo, New York

GRAVESIDE SERVICE: Wednesday, November 7, 2012 2:00 PM at Long Creek Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Kings Mountain, NC with Pastor Dee Liss, officiating.

VISITATION: Family will receive friends immediately following the service

INTERMENT: Long Creek Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Kings Mountain, NC
