Garnell Conner Bryant

GARNELL CONNER BRYANT - Garnell Conner Bryant, age 85, resident of Kings Mountain, NC died August 12, 2013 at White Oak Manor, Kings Mtn. NC. She was born in Cleveland Co. NC to the late Ervin Conner and Ethel Cabe Conner. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Donald Bryant; daughter, Brenda Elaine Shockley; brothers, Clyde Conner and Johnny Conner; and sister, Betty Payne. She was a member of Sunset Baptist Church, Bessemer City, NC and retired from Ruppe Industries, Kings Mtn. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend who loved talking, music, and making people laugh. She loved her grandchildren dearly and kept them in their place. The family wants to extend a special thank you to Kathy Huggins for the care and devotion she gave to Garnell.

SURVIVORS: Sons: Jimmy Bryant and wife Pat, Raleigh, NC Danny Bryant, Cherryville, NC Daughter: Pam J. Bryant, Bessemer City, NC Daughter-in-law: Kathy Huggins, Cherryville, NC 8 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren.

VISITATION: 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Wednesday evening, August 14, 2013 at Harris Funeral Home, Kings Mountain, NC

INTERMENT: Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, North Carolina
