GARY WRAY WORTMAN - Gary Wray Wortman, age 60, resident of 1206 Townsend Terrace, Kings Mountain, NC died April 28, 2011 at Kings Mountain Hospice House. He was born in Cleveland Co. NC and was preceded in death by his father, Albert Wortman and his son, Travis Wray Wortman. Mr. Wortman was a member of Huntersville First Baptist Church and attended First Baptist Church, Kings Mtn. NC. He was a former teacher and coach at North Meck High School, Huntersville and was an Associate Vice President of RBC Banking. A loving husband, father, and grandfather.

SURVIVORS: Wife of 39 years: Linda Gillespie Wortman, Kings Mtn. NC Daughters: Shannon W. Prince and husband Sonny, McAdenville, NC Stacey W. Hay, Kings Mtn. NC 3 Granddaughters: Payton Prince, Sydnie Hay, and Hunter Prince. Mother: Helen Whitworth Wortman, York, SC Brother: Jeffrey Wortman, York, SC Sister: Denise Person, Gaffney, SC

MEMORIAL SERVICE: First Baptist Church, Kings Mtn. Monday, May 2, 2011 11:00 A.M. Dr. John Sloan and Rev. Michael Daughrity, officiating.
