G.C. Black

G.C. BLACK - G.C. Black, age 70, a resident of Kings Mountain, went to be with the Lord on Monday, August 4, 2014 at Kings Mountain Hospice House. He was born in Cleveland County and was the son of the Late Frank and Lillie Mae Henderson Black. A loving husband, father and grandfather who loved the Lord whole heartedly and loved gardening, sharing his produce with others and will be continued by his family. He also loved motorcycles and his dogs. He was a member of Christ the King Church, Shelby, NC and a retired textile employee.

SURVIVORS: Wife of 50 years, Evelyn Black, Kings Mountain, NC Son: Matthew Black and wife Ginny, Kings Mountain, NC Grandson: Nate Black due in October Brother: Wayne Black, Kings Mountain, NC Sisters: Frances Green, Kings Mountain, NC Doris Dabbs and husband Pete, Kings Mountain, NC Sister-in-Laws: Edith Black and Betty Black, Kings Mountain, NC Numerous nieces and nephews
