GENEVA SMITH CAVENY - Geneva Smith Caveny, age 95, resident of 714 Williams Street, Kings Mountain, NC died December 4, 2013 at White Oak Manor, Kings Mtn. NC. She was born in Stanly Co. NC to the late Claude and Vallie Coggins Smith. She was also preceded in death by her husbands, the late Grady C. Yelton and the late John C. Caveny, Sr. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Kings Mtn. NC. She was the owner of Geneva's Antiques, Kings Mtn. NC and a former employee of Ed Young Motor Company, Shelby, NC.

SURVIVORS: Son: Charles D. Yelton, Cornelius, NC 2 Grandchildren: Mark Yelton and wife Jennifer, Oakland, CA Jina Motts and husband Richard, Davidson, NC 1 Great Grandson: Austin Yelton.

GRAVESIDE SERVICE: Mountain Rest Cemetery, Saturday, December 7, 2013 1:00 P.M. Rev. John Sloan, officiating.

VISITATION: 11:00 - 12:30 P.M. Saturday, December 7, 2013 prior to the service at Harris Funeral Home, Kings Mtn. North Carolina INTERMENT: Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, North Carolina
