Gerald Edward Payne, 65, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on November 25, 2021 at his home in Kings Mountain, NC. He was born in Cherokee County, NC, son of the late Floyd T. and Bernice Drinnon Payne and was preceded in death by his brother, Harold Dean Payne and two nephews, Tim and Ken Payne. Gerald graduated from Kings Mountain High School in 1974 after which he began his career at Eaton Corp where he retired. He was an avid Nascar fan and loved to fish in his spare time.

GRAVESIDE SERVICE: Friday, March 25, 2022 at 3:00 PM at Grover Cemetery with Pastor Alan Sailors officiating
