Gertrude C. Gore

Gertrude C. Gore, age 99, resident of Rolla, MO. Formerly of Kings Mountain, NC passed away on Tuesday, December 21, 2010. Gertrude was born in Kings Mountain, NC on September 30, 1911 to William Henry and Effie Mullis Caldwell. She was married to William Partee Gore in 1932. She was preceded in death by her husband, a daughter, Janice Midkiff, her parents, and siblings, Hunter Caldwell, Dewey Caldwell, Bess (Mrs. George) Adams, Ada (Mrs. Jess) Jenkins, Millard Caldwell, Flora (Mrs. Lester) Welch, and Ruby (Mrs. Tom) Smith. Gertrude was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church, Kings Mountain but had been living with her daughter in Rolla, MO since 1999. She will be greatly missed by her family.

SURVIVORS: Son: Philip Gore and wife Helen, Lenoir City, TN Daugther: Jean Hickle and husband John, Rolla, MO 3 Grandchildren: John Hickle, Jr. and wife Sofia, Orlando, FL Bill Hickle and wife Debbie, Rolla, MO Steve Hickle and wife Lisa, Jackson, MO 13 Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

FUNERAL SERVICE: Ollie Harris Memorial Chapel, Wednesday, December 29, 2010 12:00 noon Steve Hickle, Officiating.

VISITATION: 10:00 am ? 12:00 noon Wednesday, December 29, 2010 prior to the service at Harris Funeral Home, Kings Mtn. NC

INTERMENT: Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, North Carolina
