DATELINE: KINGS MOUNTAIN, NORTH CAROLINA NAME: GLADYS MCBEE BRIDGES - Gladys McBee Bridges, age 94, a resident of White Oak Manor, Kings Mountain, NC, died Friday, February 4, 2011 at White Oak Manor. Born in Gaffney, South Carolina, daughter of the late Robert and Wonie Wood McBee, widow of the Late Elvert Huey Tignor, and the Late Golden B. Bridges, she was also preceded in death by her sons Gerald B. "Jerry" Baldwin, Joe B. Bridges, daughter Mary Frances Plonk, brother Gregg McBee, and sister Ida Mae Tignor. She was a longtime member of Eastside Baptist Church, Kings Mountain. A former employee of Fulton Department Store and a homemaker.

Rev. Ron Caulder, officiating.
