Glinda Elaine (Smith) Franklin

DATELINE:  KINGS MOUNTAIN, NORTH CAROLINA Glinda Elaine Franklin Glinda Elaine Franklin, 68, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on January 16, 2019 at White Oak Manor in Kings Mountain, NC. She was born in Rutherford County, NC, to the late George Washington Smith and Linda Jane Cochran Smith and was preceded in death by her husband of 18 years, Johnny Franklin. Glinda was a member of New Life Baptist Church in Bessemer City, NC. In recent years she enjoyed painting and had a passion for playing Bingo. Glinda enjoyed trips to Cherokee with her sisters. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be missed dearly by her family and loved ones.
