Grace White

GRACE LEDFORD WHITE - Grace Ledford White, age 88, a resident of White Oak Manor, died March 13, 2011. She was born in Cleveland Co. NC to the late William Cicero and Ella Irene Gales Ledford. She was also preceded in death by her husband Frank M. White, sisters, Bertha Ledford Humphries, Florence Ledford Hullender and brothers, Harry Ledford, Clarence Ledford, Earl Ledford, Paul Ledford and Roy Ledford. An active and lifelong member of Temple Baptist Church, Kings Mtn. NC where she held numerous committee and teaching positions. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother who has cared for numerous children over the years who have been special to her. She was a former employee of Kings Mountain District Schools.

SURVIVORS: Son: Richard M. White and wife Susan L. Kings Mtn. NC Daughters: Vickie White and husband Bob Glenn, Durham, NC Lynn W. Collins and husband David, Gastonia, NC 2 Grandchildren: Josh Collins, Alan Collins and wife Stephanie, all of Mt. Holly 1 Great Grandchild: Jackson Collins and his mother, Sharla Collins. Sister: Annie Murphy, Kings Mtn. NC Special friends: Sydney Friday, Abbey Friday, and Amelia Friday. FUNERAL SERVICE: Ollie Harris Memorial Chapel, 11:00 AM, Monday, March 21, 2011 with Rev. Scott Carpenter, officiating.

VISITATION: 9:30 - 10:30 A.M. prior to the service at Harris Funeral Home, Kings Mountain, North Carolina

INTERMENT: Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, North Carolina
