Hazel Ruth (Childers) Hipp

DATELINE:  KINGS MOUNTAIN, NORTH CAROLINA Hazel Childers Hipp Hazel Childers Hipp, 82, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on March 31, 2021 at White Oak Manor in Kings Mountain, NC. She was born in Cleveland County, NC, daughter of the late Dargin and Bessie Biddix Childers and was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-three years, Gerald Hipp. Hazel was also preceded in death by a daughter, Pamela Hipp Martin, and a brother, Pete Childers. She worked in textiles at Mauney Hosiery for many years. Hazel attended Eat Gold Street Wesleyan Church. She loved working outside, tending to her lawn and sitting with friends on her carport. Hazel was a kindhearted, generous and selfless person. She always placed others needs before her own. She loved spending time with her family and friends and enjoyed taking beach trips with her loved ones. Her passing has left a void in the hearts of many people who knew and loved her.
