Herbert Boyd Welch

HERBERT BOYD WELCH - Herbert Boyd Welch, age 80, resident of 2174 Tryon Courthouse Rd., died June 26, 2011 at his home. He was born in Cleveland Co., NC, son of the late Clyde and Georgia Ware Welch. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brothers, Howard Welch, Gene Welch and Johnny Welch. He was a retired electrician from Duke Power after 35 years of service. Mr. Welch was an army veteran serving in the Korean War.

SURVIVORS: Son; Danny Welch and wife Kelly, Bessemer City Daughters; Judy Tallent and husband Ken, Bessemer City Bobbie Grigg and husband Mike, Gastonia Sisters; Bonnie Wallace, Shelby, NC Hazel Connor and husband Bill, Greenville, SC Linda Boulet and husband Chuck, Columbia, SC Phyllis Lupo and husband Gordon, Charlotte, NC 4 Grandchildren and 9 Great-Grandchildren
