Jackie (Ballard) Fisher

DATELINE:  KINGS MOUNTAIN, NORTH CAROLINA Jackie Ballard Fisher Jackie Ballard Fisher, 72, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on September 11, 2022 at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia, NC. She was born in Gaston County, NC, daughter of the late Jack and Sue Reel Ballard. Jackie was a long time, active member of First Baptist Church where she recently retired as the Preschool Director. Her life was spent dedicated to her family and caring for others. Her hearts desire was to minister to everyone she met. Jackie started a play group ministry at First Baptist Church for new mothers in order to share Christ's love with others. She retired from Gaston Memorial Hospital after serving many years as a nurse. Jackie was passionate about everything she did and her love and genuine concern for others was apparent. She loved her family dearly, especially her grandchildren, who were the center of most of her attention. Her generosity, guidance, love and compassion for others will be remembered by everyone who met Jackie.
